Our clients projects are based around the North West and North East Eg: Preston, Sheffield, Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Carlisle.
There is never usually a requirement to lodge, all sites are managed with local labour and management.
Where you live is considered when placing you on new projects in terms of time/distance of travel to/from site.

Production Operators / Assembly Operatives ideally with prior electronics, electrical or mechanical assembly experience in a production / manufacturing environment are required for a full time ongoing-contract / temp to perm position in Skelmersdale / Wigan area.
Rate of pay is £11.75/hr PAYE (in effect £12.38/hr due to paid lunches) working approx.
37 hours - Mon to Thur, 07:30am-5:15pm & occasional Friday's 07:30-1:30pm and will lead to a permanent role if the candidate performs well in the role.

The Role:
As the Production Operative you will be primarily responsible for basic wiring, assembling (screwing fixing) etc.

Utilising Kanban and Stock Control systems effectively.

We are looking for an Assembly Operative to start work on a temp to permanent basis in Hindley, Wigan.
The role is initially training in Manchester for the first few weeks, so you will require transportation to get to site.
Ideally you will have experience of assembling components or working in a production environment.
The role is working Monday to Friday days, with a lunch time finish on Friday.

Control the loading bay of wip to bend.
Manage the material storage area.
Load and unload deliveries and record them on SAP.
Perform physical counts to monitor stocks.

: Update Gemba production recording efficiently and accurately as required.

Leader, Production Controller or Manager of the department.

We're looking for a talented CNC Turner Programmer Setter Operator (FANUC) with experience of machining components in exotic materials for a permanent role for our client in Skelmersdale / Wigan area.
£32,000- £34,000 pa (dependent on experience and qualifications).
The basic working week is 40 hours/week (Mon - Fri days - 8am - 4.30pm) plus possible O/T.

The Role:
Based in Skelmersdale, as the CNC Turner Programmer Setter Operator you will be primarily responsible for programming and operating CNC machines.
In the CNC Turner Programmer Setter Operator role, you'll be tasked with the following:
Use of steadies to machine components up to 4M long.
To ensure supplied product meets all customer requirements.
Documenting all Required Data and Reporting in correct manner.
Ensuring inspection equipment in a known state of calibration is used for checking customer product.
For ensuring that the unique part identity and status of products handled is maintained
For working safely and following company safety codes.
Must be time served (NVQ 3 or equivalent).
Experience in a previous or similar position (3 years minimum)
Have a good understanding of ISO 9001/2015 quality systems.
Good planning and organisation skills along with good communications skills both with peers and management.
The standard working hours for this position are Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:30 or shifts where deemed required.
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate for this CNC Turner Programmer Setter Operator role will have relevant experience of establishing tool requirements.
You'll also need experience of reading, writing and understanding CNC programs in FANUC (essential).
Plus, it's vital that you've got experience of generating programs offline using CAPT CAD Cam system or One CNC.
In addition, you'll need the ability to read and understand drawings and the ability to use and read a range of measuring equipment to perform the CNC Turner Programmer Setter Operator role.
