The Client:

The Role:
As a Room Leader,you will provide leadership and management for playroom staff, ensuring excellent care and education for all children in collaboration with the management team.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure accurate planning and assessment by appropriate staff.
* Support good practices for special educational needs and inclusion.
* Effectively deploy staff to maintain required standards.
* Ensure child safety and staff confidence in safeguarding procedures.
* Support EYFS implementation in line with current guidelines.
* Develop professional relationships with outside agencies.

Essential:
* Previously worked as a Room Leader or in a similar role.
* At least 2 years of experience working as a Nursery Practitioner.
* Possess Level 3 qualification.
* Background in communicating with parents and carers.
* Strong safeguarding procedures knowledge.
* Understanding of the current Early Years Inspection Framework.
* Capable to write reports and keep clear & accurate records.
Good to have:
* Behaviour Management experience.
* SENDCO qualification.
* Food Hygiene Level 2 and Paediatric First Aid certification.
* Understanding of digital learning platforms such as FAMLY, Learning Book, Tapestry etc.

Deliver engaging and informative lessons in health and social care and childcare subjectsCreate and implement effective lesson plans tailored to meet the needs of diverse learnersFoster an inclusive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and active participationProvide guidance and support to students, promoting their academic and personal developmentCollaborate with colleagues to assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies as necessary
Requirements:
Qualified teacher status with experience teaching health and social care and childcare subjectsDeep knowledge of relevant curriculum standards and educational best practicesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate studentsCommitment to fostering a positive and supportive learning environmentFlexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of students and the curriculum
