This role requires a Social Work Qualification and a minimum of 2 years of post-qualifying experience.
About the team
This team is a multi-agency collaboration working with local police, schools, and the public.
The team aims to respond to contacts made to the MASH team in a timely way to identify and secure the most appropriate service to support and safeguard the children and families.
You will need to be able to make strong evidence-based decisions in line with the practice standards and statutory duties of this team.
About you
The ideal candidate will have post-qualifying experience in child protection, children in need, safeguarding, or referral and assessment.
A degree in Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW).
You will also need to be Social Work England Registered.

I am looking to recruit an experienced Registered Manager who has experience with residential services and has worked previously with clinical teams or brain injury, complex needs or mental health conditions.
The service is a 24 bed long term rehabilitation unit for adults who have suffered a brain injury and require care and support in their journey and is a flagship home in Llanelli, Wales for the charity. We are looking for an influential, hands on and quality focused Registered Manager who can come in and work with the Senior Management team to make quick and effective changes. The Registered Manager role is paying £46,305 per annum and is a full time permanent contract.
Relocation will be considered!
The successful candidate must have :
Previous Registered Manager experience within residential or rehabilitation services
Strong experience of the Care Inspectorate and track record of positive inspections
Hands on management style who can motivate and positively lead a team
Commutable travel to Llanelli

The unit is a secure children's home which offers care and support to young people aged 10-18 who have been referred by the Youth Custody Service and includes Youth Offenders.
The Secure Unit has been designed to a very high standard and is structured to provide physical containment in an environment which is comfortable and attractive.
The Unit holds 24 beds (predominantly boys) and the young people can present physically threatening behaviour and the environment can become tense and anxiety provoking, the ideal candidate would be able to withheld these situations and have previous experience de-escalating these situations.
On offer as a Residential Support Worker
Starting salary of £27,334
Secure Unit Allowance so OTE is £31,000
Rota'd hours between 7.00am-10.30pm and alternate weekend working
On site meals usually eaten with the young people

The successful candidate must have
Experience working with vulnerable young people
Experience working with complex behaviours and challenging behaviours
Experience working in youth offending or secure services
