Our well established client are seeking a Purchasing Administrator to join their exciting projects team.
The ideal candidate will have a tenacious, pro-active attitude, and be able to work autonomously as well as within a team.
This is a demanding position requiring the ability to multi-task and prioritise in dynamic environment.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in purchasing ( particularly raw materials ), a background in production and manufacturing environments, and strong communication skills.
Responsibilities as Purchasing Administrator
- Managing the purchasing and quality assurance administration for projects
- Working closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
- Buying raw materials and working with sub-contractors
- Purchasing materials to specification
- Utilising ERP/MP systems and reading material drawings
Qualifications and Experience as Purchasing Administrator
- Proven experience in purchasing
- Knowledge of working in a production and manufacturing environment
- Experience buying raw materials and working with sub-contractors
- ERP/MRP experience
- Ability to read material drawings is a plus
