Head of Business Development – Health & Social Care Recruitment.



£45,000 - £50,000 per annum, competitive commission scheme, career pathway scheme.

In line with our strategic vison and ambitious growth plans we are looking for a Business Development Manager to spearhead growth across our branch network in East Anglia, London and the South East.

The successful candidate will be expected to grow and develop our existing accounts within this region whilst developing new revenue streams from the mental health, learning disability and children’s/young offenders sector.

You will be expected to liaise very closely with our operational teams to ensure contract implementation and service delivery whilst meeting contractual standards and KPI’s.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director you will be expected to develop, implement and execute key business development strategies and build a business development team.

The Role

Generation of new revenue streams through our core markets and vertical markets across the branch network.
Account manage national and regional contracts to grow our business in line with budget and board expectations.
Implementing new contract wins in partnership with the operational teams.
Developing and implementing business development strategies with Managing Director and Operational teams.
Developing strong relationships with managed vendors.
Ensuring company quality systems are being followed and adhered to.
Supporting Head Office with invoicing and account queries.
Supporting the Managing Director to develop regional and national business development strategies in line with corporate goals & objectives.
Support the branch teams with sales training, ongoing mentoring and local business development strategies.



The Person

You will have a strong and demonstrable track record in business development ideally in the healthcare recruitment but we will consider individuals from aligned recruitment sectors.
You will have a clear understanding of all stages of the sales process and a proven track record of winning new business.
You will be able to demonstrate experience of developing and executing business strategies.
You will have experience of developing relationships with key decision makers at all levels.
You will have experience and be able to demonstrate growth of key accounts through well thought out development strategies.
You will be highly motivated and ambitious individual capable of working on your own initiative and as part of a team.
You will be financially motivated and eager to develop your career with the company.
