Community Support Worker

Service Care Solutions are recruiting a Band 4 Mental Health Support Worker to work independently in the community supporting people in their own homes.

Hours: 37.5 hours
Days: Monday - Friday
Contract: 13 weeks (+ongoing)
Salary: £12 - 13ph (Ltd) depending on experience.

Adult Community Mental Health Teams provides a range of support to service users aged 16-65 with mental health problems, including complex symptoms of depression, anxiety, complex psychological difficulties including personality disorder and complex psychosocial needs.

The successful candidate will be part of a multi-disciplinary service that consists of team managers, Community Psychiatric Nurses, Mental Health Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Community Support Workers, Admin Support, Secondary Care Psychological Therapies and Consultant Psychiatrists.

Person Specification:
All applicants must have a minimum 6 months employed experience working in Community Mental Health in areas such as CMHT, Assertive Outreach, Early Intervention, Crisis Resolution, Primary Care etc.
The applicant must be confident and competent to work independently and manage own work load.
The applicant must hold a full valid driving license and business insurance on their car as this is essential to use as part of the job role.
It would be beneficial the applicant is familiar with RIO and holds good IT skills.
