Support Worker

Support Worker required based in Cambridge.

The vacancy is to cover sickness - required initially for 4 weeks but could be extended and could be long term.

The aim of the Service is to provide young women with a safe and supportive environment where individuals can work towards gaining all the necessary independent living skills to lead more fulfilled lives within the community and move on to sustainable independent living and planned resettlement.

The service is staffed Monday- Saturday 9am- 5pm.

The service users will have an allocated Key Worker, who works alongside an individual, to develop a support package which identifies and meets their individual support needs, helping to achieve their goals and aspirations.
The key worker will work with clients using The Outcome Star, which is an engagement tool, designed to help support a client's journey towards self reliance.
Everyone makes changes in their own way but the pattern is often similar.
From feeling stuck, to accepting help and believing that we can make a difference ourselves in our life.

We look ahead towards what we want as well as away from the things we don't want.

We start to do things ourselves to achieve our goal as well as accepting help from others.
