Salary - Negotiable with uncapped OTE

Tecmark is a digital marketing agency that provides organic search engine optimisation services on behalf of our clients.

The Role
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Business Development Manager will identify, and win new clients for the agency.

You will need to be confident in identifying potential clients through a marketing led approach and contact key decision-makers up to board level.

You will work closely with our in-house marketing team to identify new target markets.

Some inbound leads will be provided via our marketing campaigns, but you must be able to also generate your own leads.


Our target market is a mix of SME and enterprise-level clients.

The candidate must be able to demonstrate the ability to sell high-value solutions.

Pre-sales support will be provided throughout the sales process.


Responsibilities:


You will:
, Be confident identifying potential new clients, then connecting with and meeting with the key decision-makers.
, Take responsibility for the sales pitch process and presenting the sales proposal in line with our tried and tested approach.
, Deliver sales in line with our target markets, and within the required spend levels.


, Record all of the important detail in our database and reporting tools, including the project management software, Basecamp, and our CRM.
, Provide research for new business pitches.
, Once a client has been won you will assist with onboarding and maintain the relationship through the full client life cycle identifying upsell, cross-sell, and referral opportunities.


The Person
We are looking for someone who will confidently find new customers, and always have the client's objectives in mind.

You will have a pro-active, can-do attitude, along with a good understanding of the commercial world.


Requirements:
, Ideally experienced in digital search or web development sales or have a background in media or advertising sales.
, Proven track record in hitting new business targets
, Ability to write a compelling sales proposal from scratch.
, Tenacious approach to building new business.
, Have an excellent understanding of an agency pitch process.
, Ability to work closely with the delivery team, building the solution through the pre-sales process.


, Excellent communication skills.
, Must be an established networker.
, Ability to understand the commercial world, particularly the structure of a business, and to quickly identify the different departments and their purpose within a business.
, Well-presented.
, Clean driving license and car.
