Because of continued demand, this employer is actively recruiting a Industrial Gearbox Technician to permanently join their Leeds based facility.

This position is purely Workshop based, however, the successful Industrial Gearbox Technician will be given the option to occasionally work in the field on customer premises.

Key responsibilities of the Industrial Gearbox Technician will include:

• Working as part of a team that is responsible for the overhaul, maintenance and repair of heavy rotating equipment & machinery


• Stripping/dismantling, inspecting, diagnosing faults and testing a range of rotating machinery including Transmissions

For the Industrial Gearbox Technician position, we are keen to receive applications from individuals who possess:

• Possess formal qualifications within a relevant discipline (Apprenticeship, NVQ/BTEC/City & Guilds Level 3, HNC, HND etc.)


• Previous experience working in an maintenance, assembly or building role, ideally focused on heavy rotating machinery (pumps, transmissions, compressors, turbines, valves, diesel engines etc.)

In return, the Industrial Gearbox Technician will receive:

• Renumeration: Between £29,396.00 - £34,118.00 per annum + £2,800.00 yearly allowance when working on site/in the field


• Holiday Entitlement: 34 per annum (26 free choice + public holidays)


• Optional private healthcare (BUPA) and Simply Health scheme


• Matched pension contribution
