Maintenance Engineer - Electrical

We are actively seeking a skilled and electrically biased Maintenance Engineer to become an integral part of our client's team.

Role Overview:

In this pivotal position, you will be instrumental in maintaining the efficiency of our client's production facilities by diligently attending to plant, equipment, and services.

We are looking for an individual with troubleshooting expertise, a strong commitment to safety through meticulous risk assessment, and excellent communication skills with suppliers and on-site colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate seamlessly with the team to meet and exceed stringent performance benchmarks.


• Champion a culture of unwavering compliance, ensuring tasks are undertaken only after a comprehensive risk assessment.


• Provide essential support during machinery relocations.


• Drive Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) initiatives across the site.


• Maintain meticulous electronic records detailing machine repairs and stock management.


• Proactively identify and contribute to the removal of site hazards.

Essential Qualifications:

• Proven track record of 3-5 years in an Electrical Maintenance capacity.


• Formal apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering or Electromechanical Engineering.


• Supplementary experience in Mechanical Engineering is advantageous.


• Minimum of BTEC Level 3 or ONC (equivalent), with preference for HNC or higher qualifications.


• Demonstrated flexibility in embracing shift work (Annualised Hours pattern
  
  *), overtime, and on-call commitments.

The annualised hours shift pattern involves a 1 in 6 rotation, translating to 1 week of nights, 1 week of back shifts, and 4 weeks of daytime shifts every 6 weeks.

This pattern also includes 1 weekend duty every 6 weeks, with corresponding weekdays off.
