NHS General Manager / UEC Transformation Lead

Practicus are partnering with a London based NHS organisation who are urgently seeking a General Manager for their UEC Services.



PURPOSE You will use your skills as a seasoned General Manager to support in the transformation of Urgent and Emergency Care services with the aim of Improving operational performance.



THE DIFFERENCE is that you will have a chance to impact the quality of care that their patients receive for the better.

The role covers operational management, a chance up-skill and develop their team and the opportunity to lead on their transformation projects.



THE ROLE IS BOTH INTERESTING AND CHALLENGING because there is an engaged team to support you, and as well as a senior leadership team, you will have the opportunity to deliver sustainable improvements and make a significant impact across the Medicines / UEC division.



TO DELIVER THIS we require an experienced UEC General Manager with the passion and expertise to deliver both the operational and transformation elements of the role.

You will need to be able to own and lead performance improvement projects and have the ability and knowledge to solve some of their UEC Streaming challenges.

EXPERIENCE:
, Experience as a General Manager gained within the NHS Acute Provider setting.


, Experience gained working in a large Urgent and Emergency Care service.


, Experienced both in operations and transformation
, Ability to deliver service and performance transformation and improvements
, Excellent people skills with the ability to communicate with both clinical and non-clinical staff at any levels.


, Passionate about your work and can inspire others.



RATE: £48.69 per hour, on site at least 4 days a week
LENGTH: 3 months initially
START: March 2024
