ELPL Paralegal

My client is a Top 100 Manchester Law firm and they have a vacancy for a Paralegal to join the EL/PL team in their Personal Injury department, based in their head office in Manchester.
The role will be supporting PI fee earners with their caseloads, alongside the team's paralegals/trainees, and will be an excellent opportunity to learn and develop legal knowledge and skills. They offer a supportive work environment with the opportunity to develop your legal experience while dealing with a wide variety of personal injury matters.
Applicants should have experience of EL/PL work, though they are open to considering those with more general Personal Injury experience.
Role & Responsibilities
Work will include (but not be limited to) tasks such as:

- drafting CNFs
- drafting of client and witness statements,
- preparing instructions to medical experts and counsel,
- drafting Schedules of Loss and court documents,
- requesting, reviewing, and collating medical records,
- drafting instructions to counsel
- researching case law on liability and quantum,
- liaising with clients and updating on case progress,
- preparing court bundles,
- dealing with billing and disbursement payments
