This is an exceptional opportunity to work for one of the largest and most well-known IT brands in the world, you will work on a secure site in Yeovil so you must be able to obtain SC clearance.


Job Summary
As the Deskside Support Engineer, you will provide on-site desktop support for end users, advising and assisting users in solving problems related to software, hardware and networks on a variety of products including laptops, desktops and mobile devices.


Other Duties include



  • Provide mobile device support

  • Software deployment

  • Provide hardware\software break fix support across a range of devices


Essential skills



  • Full UK Driving License

  • Due to having to obtain SC clearance you would need to be a British national

  • Software and hardware troubleshooting

  • Experience replacing parts on laptops and desktops

  • Support knowledge across Windows 7, 10 including O365

  • Active Directory experience

  • Experience of SCCM

  • Mobile device support experience


Desirable:



  • Active SC clearance


Hours
08:00 - 17:30 Monday to Thursday


08:00 - 16:00 on Friday
