Private Client Paralegal

They now have an opportunity for an experienced Private Client Paralegal to join either their Rainhill or St Helens office, assisting the Head of Department with a mix of client-facing and administrative duties which include preparing Wills, LPAs, Trusts, and probate paperwork, and managing estate administration cases with precision and care.



Key responsibilities of the role will include:

- Handling calls, provide cost estimates, book appointments, and update clients.
- Opening files, carry out ID/due diligence checks, and prepare legal documents.
- Managing billing, draft correspondence, handle dictation, and update systems.
- Conducting estate checklists, searches (Bankruptcy, Will Search, Land Registry), and arrange valuations.
- Liaising with third parties, manage estate debts and expenses, and obtain tax/DWP information.
- Supporting file closure and post-completion enquiries.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 months Private Client law including knowledge of probate, estate administration, Wills, and LPAs, excellent communication, empathy, great organisation and multitasking skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems, and a flexible, proactive, and detail-focused approach.
