Job Duties:

  • Oversee all financial aspects of the organisation
  • Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management
  • Manage financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
  • Lead financial analysis and reporting
  • Supervise financial staff and provide training and development
  • Participate in high-level decision-making processes
  • Extensive experience of integrating acquisitions

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Finance Director or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of financial management principles
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g.

    ACCA, CIMA)

Education:

Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 10 years in finance and accounting roles, with at least 5 years in a senior management position

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Thorough understanding of financial principles and practises
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or equivalent advanced business degree
  • Experience in the banking and finance industry
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the financial sector

Working Conditions:

This role is based in London and may require occasional travel.
