Job Responsibilities

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:




  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with special educational needs.




  • Assist the class teacher with planning, resources, and differentiation.




  • Encourage independence, resilience, and progress in learning.




  • Create a safe and engaging classroom environment.




  • Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external professionals to support children's individual needs.




Qualifications/Experience

To be successful in this SEN Teaching Assistant role, you will need:




  • Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service




  • Right to work in the UK




  • Previous experience supporting children with SEN in a school setting is desirable




  • Strong communication skills and a nurturing, patient approach
