
Chief Human Resources Officer - United Arab Emirates!
The CHRO is a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for developing and executing human resource strategies that align with the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization.
This includes talent management, succession planning, organizational development, performance management, compensation, benefits, diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities in Brief:
- Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's mission, vision, and long-term objectives.
- Talent Acquisition & Management: Lead talent planning, acquisition, retention, and succession strategies across the organization.
- Culture & Engagement: Drive a high-performance culture that reflects the organization’s values, promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion, and ensures employee engagement.
- Organizational Development: Oversee leadership development, training, and change management initiatives.
- Compensation & Benefits: Design and oversee competitive and equitable total rewards programs.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure legal compliance by monitoring HR policies, practices, and systems in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
- HR Technology & Analytics: Oversee the use of HR data, systems, and analytics to drive informed decision-making.
- Executive Partnership: Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO and senior leadership team on people-related matters.
Essential Qualifications, Experience & Key Skills for this role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior HR leadership role in GCC region, if not the UAE in Hospitality sector
- Experience in leading organizational transformation and scaling HR operations.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing HR strategies that drive business results.
- Strong working knowledge of local labour laws, regulatory requirements, and HR best practices.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and working in a matrixed or global organization is a plus.
