Are you an experienced Cook with a passion for preparing nutritious, homely meals? We’re looking for a reliable Temporary Cook to support a nursing home kitchen, ensuring residents receive well-balanced, freshly prepared food in a safe and caring environment.

In the Cook role, you will be:

• Preparing and cooking daily meals in line with dietary requirements and individual needs
• Ensuring food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness at all times
• Managing stock rotation and assisting with menu planning
• Working as part of a small, friendly kitchen team

To be considered for the Cook role, you will need:

• A caring, flexible, and proactive approach
• Previous experience as a Cook, ideally within a care, nursing home, or similar setting
• Knowledge of dietary needs, allergies, and texture-modified diets
• Hold a Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate (essential)
• Hold a Basic DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one

This is a temporary, part-time position, offering around 3–4 shifts per week.

Shifts typically run between 8:00am and 5:00pm, with some weekend work included.

The role will be ongoing for around a period of 3 months.

The payrate is £13.50 per hour plus holiday pay, and the role is based in a convenient location close to Llandudno, Conwy.
