Senior Facade Designer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Façade Designer to join a specialist cladding contractor based in Surrey.

This role requires proven technical ability in façade detailing and strong knowledge of a wide range of systems.

Location: Surrey
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver high-quality façade design packages


• Manage design information flow via client portals (e.g.
  
  RFIs)


• Provide detailing expertise and technical knowledge across multiple façade systems


• Produce detailed designs for cladding and rainscreen systems such as stone, GRC, brick-slip, and metal cassettes


• Detail and coordinate interfacing components including SFS, sheeting boards, curtain wall, doors, copings, flashings, cavity trays, membranes, insulation, fire barriers and EPDMs


• Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and clients to ensure coordinated design solutions


• Work autonomously to meet deadlines and drive project progress


• Attend design meetings/workshops on site or via Teams

Candidate Profile:

• Minimum 8+ years' design experience within the façades or cladding sector


• Strong technical knowledge of rainscreen and cladding systems


• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision


• Excellent proficiency in AutoCAD


• Strong communication and problem-solving skills


• Must be based within commuting distance of the Surrey office (ideally within one hour)
