General Manager – Food-Led Pub, South London, £55,000

Are you passionate about food, service, and creating standout guest experiences? We’re looking for a General Manager to lead a busy, foodie-focused pub through a major refurbishment.

This isn’t your typical community pub it’s a vibrant, high-quality venue with a 70/30 food-to-drink split, full table service, and a menu that celebrates seasonal British-inspired dishes using top-notch ingredients.

What You’ll Do

• Take ownership of daily operations, ensuring exceptional service and smooth running of the venue
• Lead, inspire, and retain a high-performing team, creating a culture that reflects the pub’s food-led values
• Drive business growth through marketing, menu innovation, and guest experience initiatives
• Manage budgets, P&L, and compliance while maintaining operational excellence

Who You Are

• Minimum 2 years’ management experience in a high-volume, food-led pub or similar venue (weekly sales £35k+)
• Exceptional leadership skills with a proven track record of motivating teams at a senior level
• Commercially aware with strong knowledge of P&L and local marketing
• Passionate about delivering memorable food and drink experiences, and excited to be part of a refurbishment project that will elevate the pub’s offer
