A Bench Joiner is required to join an established family run business on a permanent basis.

A company dedicated to delivering high-quality craftsmanship and innovative joinery solutions for their clients.

Full training can and will be provided for motivated individuals who show the right aptitude.

Bench Joiner Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.


• Manufacture bespoke joinery items for in store and exhibition displays


• Operate a range of woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.


• Assemble and fit components to precise measurements and quality standards.


• Sanding, finishing, and preparing wood surfaces as required.


• Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment.

Bench Joiner Key Requirements

• Proven experience as a Bench Joiner in a workshop environment is essential.


• Ability to read and work from detailed drawings and specifications.


• Excellent attention to detail and high-quality craftsmanship.


• Good understanding of health and safety practices in a workshop setting.


• NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in Joinery (preferred but not essential).

Bench Joiner Remuneration

• Starting hourly rate between £15 and £18 per hour dependant on experience.


• 40hrs per week Mon-Friday 8am-4.30pm with 30min lunch and 2no 15min breaks morning/afternoon.
