Lead Electronic Design Engineer

Location: South Yorkshire,

Salary: £70,000 - £75,000 plus benefits

We are partnered with a South Yorkshire start up specialising in high-speed electronics who are looking to hire a Lead Electronic Design Engineer to take ownership of electronic design and build out a new engineering function.

This role offers hands on mixed signal engineering as well as genuine technical authority and the ability to shape a future core team.

In this Lead Electronic Design Engineer role, you will:

• Take ownership as the first and sole electronics engineer and grow the function as the company scales


• Design complex mixed signal electronics including analogue circuitry and high-speed digital interfaces


• Deliver full schematic capture and multi-layer PCB layout


• Ensure designs meet EMC and product safety standards

The ideal Lead Electronic Design Engineer will have:

• Strong electronic design experience covering analogue and high-speed digital electronics


• A proven track record of schematic capture and multi-layer PCB layout


• The ability to work autonomously in a fast paced start up environment


• The confidence to form and lead a core electronics team while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams
