Job Responsibilities

As an Intervention Teaching Assistant, your duties will include:




  • Delivering small group and one-to-one interventions to support pupils' learning in core subjects.




  • Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to plan and implement targeted support strategies.




  • Monitoring and recording pupil progress and providing feedback to teaching staff.




  • Supporting the creation of an inclusive and positive classroom environment.




  • Assisting in the preparation of differentiated learning materials to meet the needs of all pupils.




  • Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing throughout all learning activities.





Qualifications/Experience

To be considered for this Intervention Teaching Assistant role, you will need:




  • An Enhanced DBS Certificate registered with the Update Service.




  • The Right to work in the UK.




  • Previous experience as an Intervention Teaching Assistant or within a similar support role in a primary school setting is highly desirable.




  • A passion for supporting children's learning and helping them achieve their full potential.
