Job Responsibilities
As an Intervention Teaching Assistant, your duties will include:
Delivering small group and one-to-one interventions to support pupils' learning in core subjects.
Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to plan and implement targeted support strategies.
Monitoring and recording pupil progress and providing feedback to teaching staff.
Supporting the creation of an inclusive and positive classroom environment.
Assisting in the preparation of differentiated learning materials to meet the needs of all pupils.
Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing throughout all learning activities.
Qualifications/Experience
To be considered for this Intervention Teaching Assistant role, you will need:
An Enhanced DBS Certificate registered with the Update Service.
The Right to work in the UK.
Previous experience as an Intervention Teaching Assistant or within a similar support role in a primary school setting is highly desirable.
A passion for supporting children's learning and helping them achieve their full potential.
