Pay: $23-$26/hour.
This position offers a 36-hour workweek with compensation equivalent to a standard 40-hour workweek.

Schedule: Friday-Sunday, 6:00AM - 6:30PM
The primary result expected from the Lab Technician will be to complete and document performance testing of various coating attributes by making laboratory samples of paint technologies including color evaluations and color matching as well as other laboratory functions and by assisting in the development and optimization of new or existing products to support revenue growth and profits of the corporation. Typical tasks for this position include (but are not limited to) the following: Monitor product quality to ensure compliance to standards and specifications. Develop an understanding with supervision of the fundamentals of coatings technology. Compile results of tests and analyses. Set up and conduct experiments, tests, and analyses using standard paint test procedures and physical and chemical techniques. Conduct chemical and physical laboratory tests to assist scientists in making qualitative and quantitative analyses of solids, liquids, and gaseous materials, and document all experimental results. Provide and maintain a safe work environment by participating in safety programs, committees, or teams, and by conducting laboratory and plant safety audits. Prepare paint batches for products and following standardized formulas, or create experimental formulas. Preform lab support activities which may include routine maintenance or upkeep of equipment and lab areas such as salt fogs, QUV'S, milling room, hot room, or controlled temp.

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION DUTIES/TASKS: Satellite Hazardous Waste Accumulation Production tank/Cleaning/filling 1.
Production Quality Lab Technicians may have to dispose of product samples, line flush, off-spec product, or expired product retain samples.
This waste material is transferred to the hazardous waste satellite accumulation drum. 2.
Production workers clean equipment and tanks pre-rinse, wipe, scrub, and final rinse surfaces using wash solvent, brushes and rags.
Dirty solvent is transferred to the satellite accumulation area. 3.
Transfer used wash solvent to the satellite accumulation drum or tank. 4.
Ensure hazardous waste storage or accumulation containers remain sealed except during the addition or removal of waste. 5.
Ensure Hazardous Waste storage containers are clearly labeled "Hazardous Waste." 6.
Care must be exercised when introducing waste into the satellite accumulation drum.
Do not drop on floor or area.
In the case of any spilled material, spills or drops shall be cleaned up immediately. 7.
When 55 gallons has accumulated, the satellite accumulation container must be moved to a permanent hazardous waste storage area within 3 days and relabeled "Hazardous Waste." REQUISITE SKILL, EDUCATION, OR OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: 1.
Knowledge and understanding of the chemical characteristics of the wastes which they are assigned to handle or control (i.e., flammability, toxics, incompatibilities, etc.). 2.
Type of protective equipment and clothing to be worn. 3.
Knowledge of what to do or who to notify in the event of a release, fire, or explosion. 4.
Knowledge of communication and alarm system. 5.
Know procedures for using facility emergency equipment. 6.
Predetermined responses and methods to control releases, fires, or explosions. 7.

The primary result expected from the Maintenance Technician will be to keep machines, mechanical equipment, or the structure of the facility in repair by Pipe fitting; boiler making; insulating; welding; machining; carpentry; repairing electrical or mechanical equipment; installing, aligning, and balancing new equipment; and repairing buildings, floors, or stairs. Typical tasks for this position include (but are not limited to) the following: Repair or replace defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment. Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, or the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate. Follow checklists to inspect drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, or perform other maintenance actions. New Weekend Shift: Friday - Sunday 6:00AM - 6:30PM As our Batchmaker you are to produce paint and related products by setting up, operating, or tending machines to mix or blend materials, such as chemicals, liquids, color pigments, explosive ingredients, or rust-proofing materials.

Here's what you can expect every day: Stages and charges necessary raw materials into process flow tanks.
Follows batch work instructions in order to manufacture quality products. Prepares disperser and letdown tank for production, including any necessary equipment clean up. Monitors and controls high-speed disperser, mixer, pumps, flow meters and other instruments in order to make sure that a batch is produced according to work instructions. Adjust a batch, under QC guidance, until it is approved. Get batch tickets from floor supervisor and discuss with floor supervisor the best order.
Determine raw materials needed. Housekeeping - Clean up work area to 5S standards, takes out trash, participate in cycle count and inventory program. May assist in other departments such as filling, and material handling or help make sample batches Ensure work area is safe, clean and free of recognizable hazards, communicating all spills or other hazards to the shift supervisor Responsible for Dust collector cleanouts when required. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan and purchase finished goods, raw materials, and components by analyzing MRP and forecast reports to determine optimal order quantity and date required. Fix costing & bill of material errors identified in the analysis process. Conduct on-site vendor physical inventories by meeting schedule set by Purchasing Manager.
Obtain counts from vendors, create spreadsheets to analyze, and perform SAP transactions to reconcile counts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Achieves or exceeds assigned sales goals and expectations.
Works primarily with existing accounts, while seeking and developing new account opportunities to influence and increase use of Tremco CPG products in assigned territory.
Manages assigned accounts to establish business development opportunities through account penetration, analysis, partnership with key decision makers, and strategic initiatives.
Drives product specifications and project opportunities throughout assigned territory.
Leverages industry knowledge, marketplace dynamics and key relationships both internally and externally to develop trusted partnerships and advisory relationships with customers with a focus on problem identification, exploration and resolution.
Annually prepares and delivers strategic business/territory plans for each customer with monthly forecasts.
Consistently and efficiently follows the standard sales process to identify prospects and decision makers, gain customer commitment, predict sales probability, and effectively close deals.
Manages day-to-day contact, exchanges information succinctly, truthfully and ethically while addressing issues directly and tactfully in pursuit of mutual interest and benefit.
Develops and delivers technical, high quality and directed digital collateral, product prospectus, presentations, and business correspondence in support of the overall sales process.
Collaborates with senior staff to coordinate and execute product knowledge training sessions with internal and external customers, as appropriate, utilizing supplier representatives.
Leverages all available technology on a daily basis for productivity and effective lead generation, account maintenance, sales and expense tracking, forecasting, account reviews, customer contact, presentations, etc.
Works collaboratively with internal support resources to develop teamwork through cooperation, trust and mutual respect.
Attends and presents business unit products and services at industry conventions and trade shows.
Maintains extensive product knowledge in all product lines and service offerings.
Adheres to and enforces all company policies, pricing, and operational procedures with special attention to the professional image of the company.
Performs other related duties as required, requested or assigned.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales, Construction Management and 2-3 years of construction or industry experience OR
Minimum High School Diploma or GED with 5 years of construction or industry experience
EXPERIENCE
Two to four years related experience and/or training
Construction knowledge (i.e., waterproofing, air barriers, framing, modular, glazing etc.)
Basic knowledge of product chemistries
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability to travel extensivelywithin assigned territory.
Must be well organized,self-motivated, with outstandingwritten and verbalcommunication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Salesforce.com or other CRM software experience preferred

BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION:
The base salary range for applicants in this position generally starts at $87,000 and goes up based on experience plus incentive compensation.
This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operations, needs, and other considerations permitted by law.
