Responsibilities:
Prioritize, strategize, design, develop, launch, and support product campaigns. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats. Create exceptional user experiences, working with our Creative department visually appealing interfaces with target audience. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success. Direct market research and market intelligence gathering to ensure understanding of applications, users, competition, and market trends.
Analyze and leverage data and insights to develop and formulate category and product recommendations.
Conduct early-stage opportunity assessment, ideation, and concept development for a new product opportunity from ideation to market launch. Manage product portfolio to develop and promote new products and optimize and grow existing product lines, providing support to the sales team. Monitor and analyze the competitive landscape, business developments and market trends to identify strategic opportunities and ensure product offering is properly positioned. Developing strategic plans and innovating roadmaps for key product segments. Driving new product development activities through Stage-Gate product management and market research. Ensuring profitability within the assigned market segments, including supporting the product commercialization process.
Experience with SAP is preferred. Define and develop product positioning, messaging, feature specifications, unique selling proposition and pricing strategies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field.
6+ years of relevant Product (Abrasives preferred), Brand or MRO or Paint & Body Market experience.
(10+ years for Sr.
Manager level) Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Passionate problem solver and creative thinker, with ability to pitch new ideas and be open to feedback. Analytic and strategic thinking skills, with ability to digest complex information and make data-driven decisions. Team player looking to advance in their own career while helping colleagues learn and grow. Confident public speaker with the ability to influence senior level management.

Manage certified applicators such as QAP program, certificate renewals, approved applicator info required for jurisdictions.
Submit special price and color requests daily using established Tremco processes.
Coordinate the generation of project specific specifications, details, warranties and substitution requests and delivery of the articles to the field sales representative.
Track expiration of region-specific third-party approvals and coordinate renewals with the technical service group (for example COLA, Notice of Acceptances (NOAs), etc.) Order samples and literature for customers as requested.
Send project support information to customers such as Application Instructions, common details, sample warranties, technical bulletins, brochures, approved applicator certificates, etc.
Organize and coordinate meetings/events within the Division Collect and combine collaborative activity documentation such as project tracking/activities with USG and other cross segment collaboration (i.e.

Review process flow diagrams and piping and instrument diagrams (P&IDs). Meet with plant technical staff to discuss technical information and features. Participate in failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) and Process Hazard analysis (PHA) to consider equipment, personnel, and environmental safety.
Knowledge of capital approval process and project justification required. Be involved in the design and development of equipment and work procedures.
Be responsible for preparing, maintaining, and updating process hazard analysis.
Ensures necessary records are maintained and prepared according to established guidelines.
Takes responsibility for I&C Engineering Change Management system.
Coordinate and approve all sample submissions of new products and engineering changes through the Product Development Program.
Assists in identifying the root causes of a problem and instituting corrective action such as changes to batch sheets, generation of Engineering Change Requests, changes in workstations, changes to inspection analyses and changes to process procedures.

Prepare for and represent the company during all ISO and related audits.
Review all design drawings and changes, process procedures, test procedures, procurement documents, and inspection analyses to ensure that the divisions and customers quality requirements are met on assigned products, programs, areas, and functions. Provide support to maintenance and operation group including visual aids and inspection analyses.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
B.S.
degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
Preferred, 2+ years working in a Manufacturing environment, and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Electrical Schematic and panel layout design using CAD (preferably AutoCAD Electrical) experience. Experience in the design of programmable logic controllers (PLC) or distributed control system (DCS) based controls systems.
Expertise in National Electrical Code requirements in industrial facilities and hazardous locations.
Proven understanding of integrating instrumentation with data acquisition hardware.
Proficiency with electrical diagnostic equipment. Familiar with industrial sensors and actuators; pressure, temperature, accelerometers, motor controllers, flow meters, relays, strain gauges, valves, and pumps.

• Minimum of a BS degree in a safety, regulatory, or chemical related discipline or equivalent experience.

Position Summary
Carboline is looking to fill an open Territory Sales Representative within their Northeast Region seeking candidates located near Boston, Philadelphia, DC or the Metro New York areas focusing heavily on Carboline's Flooring Market.
This position will be responsible for both selling and generating new business with already established customers while also developing new prospects to grow volume, revenue and increase the profitability of this territory.
We are seeking individuals with a hunters mentality and prior experience working in the paint and coatings industry.
This position will report into the Northeast Region Director of Sales.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's in Business or a Technical degree or equivalent experience 4+ years sales and or business development experience, preferably in the protective coatings industry
Preferred Requirements
Previous industrial sales experience within the coatings industry is preferred.
NACE certifications are a plus!
Physical Requirements
This position requires minimal physical activity.
May require lifting up to 50lbs on occasion.
May require computer usage for an extended period of time - up to 8 hours in a day.
Occasional exposure to various chemicals.
May require travel by car up to 50%, including nighttime.
Essential Functions
Responsible for calling on new and existing customers to build sales volume, to remain abreast of customer requirements and to assess market trends. Calls on customers and prospective customers to inform them of products, new releases, services available, supply, etc.
Provides technical assistance when necessary. Responsible for securing and renewing orders; works with customer services and sales management to provide servicing levels required by the customer. Builds and maintains a sales program within the territory based on strategic planning including prospecting, new business development, levels of available business and level of repeat business. Works effectively with all company personnel and resources to provide full customer service and assure continuing customer satisfaction. Applies good judgment and prompt follow through on customer complaints, returns, claims or other problems on products / services provided. Gathers and reports significant developments within accounts, prospects competitors and the general market for use by company management in research, analysis and planning purposes. Provides annual sales detailing target markets and accounts. May act as a Field Technical Service Engineer as requested. Committed to the Company's safety and quality programs.

This position will be responsible for developing and growing Carboline's sales in North America as well as supporting major global projects within the Fireproofing markets.
