An exciting opportunity has arisen for a general dentist to join this busy and reputable practice in Takapuna.
The successful candidate will be replacing a departing senior clinician and stepping into a well-established patient base.
About the Practice and the Role:
This is a part-time position to start with (three days per week), with flexibility on days and strong potential for future growth.
Hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The clinic is a modern, four-chair general practice equipped with digital x-rays, intraoral camera, scanner, OPG, and nitrous oxide.
A wide range of general and cosmetic dental services are offered, including root canal therapy, Invisalign, Botox, crown and bridge, veneers, whitening, wisdom teeth removal, IV sedation, hygiene, and implant dentistry.
You'll be supported by a highly experienced team of dentists, hygienists, and a dedicated reception and support staff.
The practice benefits from loyal long-standing patients, with a steady flow of new patient enquiries.
Remuneration is based on 40% commission (less lab fees), and parking is provided.
About You:
Ideally, you will have a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in general dentistry.
You will be confident in all aspects of general dentistry and comfortable developing treatment plans collaboratively with patients.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with a passion for providing exceptional patient care.
A team-focused attitude and the ability to contribute to a collaborative clinical environment are key to success in this role.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Production Assembler performs assigned tasks that include, but are not limited to, plastering, producing architectural shapes, EIFS wall components, and exterior panel systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operates and maintains extrusion machinery independently; collaborates with team to run parts through equipment.
Performs journeyman-level plastering, including troweling, base coating, finishes, and final sanding/touch-ups.
Hand-applies and cuts adhesive mesh and Fedderlite channels to specification; trims parts with cutting equipment.
Mixes materials using electric drills and paddles; assembles and pours molds for cast stone.
Utilizes Monday.com to track production progress, shipments, and inventory.
Follows the production schedule set by the Production Supervisor and completes all required forms (e.g., work orders, material usage, man-hour sheets).
Leads project work, interprets complex work orders, and mentors less experienced team members.
Conducts quality control checks and identifies issues in production processes, providing data for improvement initiatives.
Prepares and organizes parts for shipment; assists with shipping, receiving, and custom crate building.
Follows all safety protocols and proactively identifies and addresses safety concerns.
Cleans tools and equipment post-use and helps maintain a clean, organized work environment.

The Operations Manager is key plant position responsible for planning and coordinating the activities of the compounding and packaging departments.
Responsible for Safety, Quality, Customer Service, Efficiency, Cost, and Maintaining the non-union status of the plant.
Directly responsible for 150 + Associates in a 24 x 7 operation.
Responsibilities
Planning and Coordinating Workload
Plan and Coordinate staffing requirements within customer service and budgetary constraints.
Work with planners and purchasing to develop the most efficient/low cost daily manufacturing plan to exceed customer service objectives.
Effectively communicate and coordinate plan with all shifts and associates.
Track progress toward plan.
Follow-up and adjust as needed to achieve goals and maximize resources.
Participate in strategic planning, annual budget process, and annual physical inventory process as needed.
Safety
Assist Plant Manager and Peer Managers in the continued development of our behavioral based safety culture.
Be a continuous safety leader.

Establish industry best housekeeping standards, procedures, and associate practices to maintain a professional, neat, and safe facility.
Instill continuous improvement and excellence in facility housekeeping practices.
Quality

Team Building

Continuous Improvement
Establish and monitor key metrics in all areas.

Establish strong lines of communication with the Plant Manager on a daily basis.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree. 7 years + of experience managing plant operations. Very strong verbal communication skills: ability to effectively communicate one-on-one and present to large groups. Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
Strong written communication skills: ability to effectively communicate with customers by email, as well as develop written reports and presentations. High proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word, SAP experience is a plus. Well versed with spreadsheets, MRO systems, Mainframe interactions, inventory, and financial management skills. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills Experienced in Project Management and statistics. Familiarity with DAP products a plus
