Legend Brands is hiring a CNC Machinist Assistant for our Prescott AZ location.
Perform all machining operations required to produce finished products from a variety of raw materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, etc.
Job Requirements:
Operate machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams to select, position, and secure machinery
Use calipers or other measuring instruments in order to perform quality control checks on parts in process and upon completion
Load parts in machine, cycle machine
Detect and report malfunctions in machine operation
Run production lots
Perform daily maintenance on machinery
Communicate with co-workers regarding production runs
Maintain safe, organized work environment as well as cleanliness of the equipment
Perform necessary tasks and paperwork for the proper movement and control of parts
Qualifications:
Prior CNC Machine operations experience or certification
Ability to use tools and machinery
Ability to perform inspection of machined parts
Computer skills to run CNC programs
Self-starter
Ability to learn CNC machine programming for basic operation
Hiring Range:
Between $19.00 - $22.50 per hour

Minimum Qualifications

The customer is everything at DAP and our Customer Service Representatives take first class care of them.
They roll up their sleeves and handle anything requested by our field sales reps and our B2B customers (dealers and distributors) that will keep orders on-track and on-time.
Upon completion of the training program, this rep will work 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for maintaining a high service level and low abandon rate by ensuring customer calls are answered in a timely manner.
Answering the customer calls using excellent phone techniques.
Provide tracking details to final destination upon customer request.
Responsible for accurate order entry of all incoming orders via phone, fax, and email.
Responsible for tracking and monitoring of all orders from entry to shipment.
Confirmation of all orders received to the customer within 24 hours providing valid expected ship dates.
Responsible for the review and monitoring of orders entered report to ensure accurate and timely delivery of customer orders.
Review all backorders for daily communication with plants regarding shipping status of backorders.
Responsible for daily interaction with sales reps, credit reps and pricing team to resolve all order blocks and pricing issues in a timely manner.
Communicate with credit department on term's discrepancies.
Responsible for the accurate and timely process of requests for credit/debit upon customer request and investigation.
Ensuring that the procedures are followed for each process in a correct manner.
Responsible for the daily interaction of assigned customers and sales reps.
regarding orders, pricing, problems and product information.
Additional duties as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to work 9:30 am - 6:00 pm
High School (or equivalent)
Effective communications skills - verbal and written, SAP experience a plus.
Grace under pressure - remain positive and focused to the task at hand.
Effective problem-solving skills - quick on your feet and can think outside of the box.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize work all with a sense of urgency.
Familiarity with use of PC system for order placement, pricing, and distribution and to obtain information relative to customers, orders and products.
French fluency is a plus.

Responsibilities:
Support the implementation of our EHS management system and provide guidance to ensure full compliance with applicable regulations. Design and lead EHS-related projects, tackling safety and environmental challenges head-on while implementing corrective actions when necessary. Maintain and update safety and environmental training programs; coordinate and conduct training sessions for employees. Manage data tracking and filing for environmental permits (air, water, hazardous waste), safety statistics, and corporate EHS reporting requirements. Develop and oversee Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and Label Guides as part of the North American Chemical Management System. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure product labels and technical data sheets meet regulation standards, reviewing and approving all labels before release. Stay informed of evolving laws and regulations, sharing critical updates with stakeholders to maintain compliance and adapt quickly.
Experience and Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or a related field. A strong interest in EHS, with internship experience, related coursework, or relevant work experience preferred. A proactive attitude and great collaboration skills for working with a wide range of people, including managers, engineers, and team members on site. An ability to understand and learn technical concepts, including chemical safety and regulatory standards. Solid organizational skills, attention to detail, and a desire to develop problem-solving expertise. Familiarity with basic software tools like Microsoft Office.
Experience with SAP or environmental management software is helpful but not required-we'll teach you! A genuine passion for safety, sustainability, and making a positive impact on workplace culture.
