Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-focused Warehouse Administrator to join their team in Poole.
This position plays a vital role in ensuring that jobs are processed smoothly through the production cycle, from booking in to dispatch, while maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
Duties -
- Accurately book in jobs and monitor the goods-in area to ensure prompt processing
- Issue and release job cards to the shop floor in line with production schedules
- Carry out unwrapping and degreasing of components when required
- Manage the booking in and out of customer gauges
- Process and record purchase orders (PO's)
- Assist with Kanban stock control and customer production planning
- Prepare and complete First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs)
- Verify and record specification revisions to ensure compliance
- Check the packing shelf daily to prevent backlog or delays
- Oversee dispatch activities, including preparing courier labels and manifests
- Maintain the box store and shop floor areas in a safe and organised condition
- Progress jobs through to the next operation as needed
- Provide accurate updates and progress reports on customer jobs
- Act as a point of contact for customer communication and queries

As Stock Controller, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock records, liaising between purchasing and the warehouse, and assisting with various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of the warehouse function.
Key Responsibilities
- Log goods in and out using the computerised system
- Liaise between purchasing and the warehouse to ensure effective communication
- Monitor and dispose of out-of-date and quarantined stock
- Assist with identifying and resolving missing stock from pick lists
- Maintain a daily log of deliveries received, including PO numbers, suppliers, and quantities
- Conduct raw material stock level checks
- Support the warehouse with relevant tasks during holiday cover
- Edit picking sheets to ensure accurate and up-to-date stock movements
