JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Summary: Responsible for overseeing the physical receipt, checking, and storage of delivered materials and materials for shipment.
Essential Functions:
Works with CSR / AR Manager and Warehouse Supervisor to ensure proper handling of inbound and out bound freight. Manages storage of raw materials and finished goods, along with container counts. Must be certified forklift operator and follow all regulations and company policies in order to safely load and unload materials to/from trailers and tankers so they may be transported safely and comply with all regulations.
Maintaining hazardous waste storage area and hazardous waste inventory in a manner consistent with all federal, state, local and company regulations and policies. Responsible for ensuring all trucks, trailers, and drivers have the proper licenses and certifications to haul any and all materials they deliver or pick up from Arnette Polymers, including hazardous waste. Ensure all containers are clean, labeled properly, and stored in appropriate containers, as to maintain compliance with all regulations and policies; Knowledgeable in DOT and RCRA regulations. Conceptual Phase (specification development, establishment of milestone dates) Program Planning Phase Design Phase Conduct Pre-Proposal Meetings Proposal Phase Construction Phase Conduct Pre-Construction Effective Close-out Cost Estimates and Schedules Use of ebuilder for all project documentation per policy manual. Assist the Construction Manager in tracking project costs, budget variances, and profitability. Accountable for Quality Assurance. Ensure subcontractor has submitted the required documents. Establish timelines and goals. Manage key metrics and report on as required. When needed, coordinate with Program Managers, Project Administrators, Project Estimators, Specification Writers, Sales Representatives, and RBM. Assist in the review of submitted proposals and contractor interviews for specification and contractual compliance. Review of line-item generated proposal documents. Direct Project Superintendents as needed. Completion of specification request and related documents. Responsible for specification review as required by the Construction Manager. Pre-Proposal Stage: Conducts Pre-Proposal Meeting and distributes completed Pre-Proposal Meeting documentation to all applicable parties. Assist the Construction Manager in reviewing proposals. Prepare Proposal Documents as directed by the Construction Manager. Pre-Construction Stage: Publish Project Schedule. Assists the Construction Manager in planning and coordinating the Pre-Construction Meeting. Engages with the Project Superintendent to provide necessary project information. Conducts Pre-Construction Meeting and and distribute completed Pre-Construction Meeting documentation to all applicable parties. Obtain a Building Permit when required. Construction Stage: Review Daily Inspection Forms and ensures they are distributed to all applicable parties and uploaded into project files. Visits job site as necessary or directed by Construction Manager. Conduct weekly Progress Meetings, virtual or onsite, and distribute meeting minutes to all applicable parties.
Maintain Project Schedule and update on a weekly basis. Perform site audits as appropriate. Review subcontractor payment requests with the Construction Manager. Assemble AIA billing applications for the Construction Manager's review and approval. Assist Construction Manager, Project Superintendent, Subcontractor, Owner, or Sales Representative as needed. Close Out Stage: Assist the Construction Manager in coordinating the final inspection. Ensure all required documents are uploaded into the project files. JOB DESCRIPTION
GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Construction Management Associate is responsible for assisting the Construction Manager in all aspects related to a construction project.
This will include, but not be limited to, General Contracting projects, larger-scale Contracting Patch and Repair Projects, TremCares, etc.
This will involve working closely with the Construction Manager, Project Superintendent, or WTI Technician assigned to the project to ensure the project is executed effectively, completed safely, and all contractual obligations are adhered to.
Additional duties will include participating in on-site meetings, developing the scope of work, reviewing proposals, specifications, and project schedules, assembling project submittals, obtaining building permits, and completing project closeout documents, as well as other duties as directed by the Construction Manager.
