JOB DESCRIPTION
Tasks PROFILE: Typical tasks for this position include (but are not limited to) the following: Monitor machinery used in the production process and assist machine operators. Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards, BOM, and test. Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually or using non-motorized equipment. Stop machines when malfunctions occur, clear jams, and report unresolved malfunctions to a machine operator, lead, maintenance, and then management. Secure finished packaged items by gluing, stapling, wrapping, taping, or attaching fastener. Mark or tag identification on parts. Load and unload materials, product, or packaging from machines, containers, conveyors, and conveyances. Help team members by performing duties of lesser skill, such as supplying or holding materials or tools, and cleaning work areas and equipment. Perform TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) per requirements.
May require recording information such as weight, count, time, scrap and date packaged. Stock and sort product for packaging or filling machine operation, and replenish packaging supplies, such as wrapping paper, plastic sheet, boxes, cartons, glue, ink, or labels to ensure all shifts requirements are met. You will be working in a supported living accommodation services for young people aged 16 +.
As the support worker your duties will include:
Supporting young people on property visits and moving in and out of properties.
Supporting with housing issues i.e maintenance.
Supporting in the community with appointments.
Liaising with other care professionals.

Monday - Sunday
09:00- 17:00 / 11:00-19:00
About you
The successful candidate will have experience working with people 16+, providing them with support to gain essential life skills.
Must be a driver and own their own vehicle.

What a Day Could Look Like Each day brings variety, but tasks may include:
Supporting morning routines including personal care and medication
Assisting with physiotherapy or clinical tasks
Preparing meals and encouraging healthy eating
Managing specific health needs such as catheter care
Supporting with budgeting, appointments, and social activities
Helping with evening routines and emotional wellbeing
You'll also work alongside healthcare professionals, families, and your team to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
What We're Looking For
Minimum of 6 months' experience in a care or supported living role
Confidence in supporting individuals with complex needs
Ability to follow care plans and work independently or as part of a team
A flexible and positive attitude
Full UK driving licence desirable but not essential (non-drivers must be responsible for their own transport)
Applicants must be 18 or over

Here's what you can expect every day: Repair and maintain machinery and equipment including: pumps, motors, filling and packaging equipment, conveyors, palletizers, piping, valves, tanks, agitators, drives, gearboxes, and utilities. Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices. Work with filling line operators to efficiently change over line equipment for different label, container, and packaging sizes. Maintain all operating equipment in satisfactory condition.
Schedule needed repairs to have minimum interference with operations.
Troubleshoot/repair equipment in a timely and efficient manner. Comply with company safety rules and procedures.
Complete daily and shift clean up tasks. Communicate results/ concerns/ issues with supervisor and co-workers.
