Here's what you can expect:
Prepare samples, using various lab equipment and following detailed instructions provided by manager, performing standard tests and evaluations of samples, and following established methods and procedures including color evaluation on the color computer.
Monitor product quality to ensure compliance to standards and specifications.
Maintaining accurate and thorough records of observation and results, communicating them verbally and in reports requested by supervisor, and monitoring test fences.
Compile results of tests and analyses.
Set up and conduct experiments, tests, and analyses using standard paint test procedures and physical and chemical techniques.
Conduct chemical and physical laboratory tests.
Provide and maintain a safe work environment by participating in safety programs, committees, or teams, and by conducting laboratory and plant safety audits.
Prepare paint batches for products and following standardized formulas, or create experimental formulas.
Preform lab support activities which may include routine maintenance or upkeep of equipment and lab areas.

The primary result expected from the Maintenance Mechanic will be to keep machines, mechanical equipment, or the structure of the facility in repair by Pipe fitting; boiler making; insulating; welding; machining; carpentry; repairing electrical or mechanical equipment; installing, aligning, and balancing new equipment; and repairing buildings, floors, or stairs.
Here's what you can expect: • Repair or replace defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment. • Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, or the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate. • Follow checklists to inspect drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, or perform other maintenance actions. • Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices. • Assemble, install or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems, machinery, and equipment. • Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary. • Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions. • Record type and cost of maintenance or repair work. • Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery. • Dismantle devices to access and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools. Required Skills: • 3+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing environment; preferably in chemical/paint manufacturing • High School Diploma or equivalent • Must have expertise in packaging equipment, plumbing, and pipefitting, with skills in electrical work and instrument calibration considered a definite plus • Demonstrated ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex packaging and material-handling equipment is required • Ability to do basic math. • Accurately enter and retrieve computer data. • Ability to operate machinery • Ability to solve problems in a team environment. • Active participation in our Continuous Improvement Process. • Ability to consistently lift 50 pounds. • Willing to work overtime as required. This is a full-time position on the day shift, 5:00 am - 3:30 pm Monday - Thursday.
Some overtime may be required.
Use and understanding of torque methods to ensure the proper alignment of parts.
Job Requirements:
Methodically construct industrial engine components (engine, blower, water box, water pump and control panel) into an array of different finished products
Responsible for diagnosing and resolving engine and associated assembly tolerance issues to ensure proper fit and alignment
Use and understanding of torque methods to ensure the proper alignment of parts.
Qualifications:
Mechanical aptitude
Manual dexterity, and experience with power and hand-tools
Automotive or heavy equipment repair and service experience preferred, even as a hobby
Ability to communicate information clearly
Attention to detail and quality
Ability to read and understand blueprints or schematics a plus
Ability to see all colors accurately is an essential function of this job
Hiring Range:
Between $18.00 - $20.00/hour DOE

The Machine Operator starts, troubleshoots, and operates manufacturing equipment safely.
There are three Machine Operator levels (I, II, & III).

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
This position performs various diagnostic onsite inspections for customers, as well as other inspection services.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform/assist with diagnostic roof inspections, including Infrared, Nuclear, visual, & other inspection services, along with related information gathering and verification tasks.
Work with Lead Diagnostics Technician Collaborate with other Field Supervisors as necessary. Assist with the Quality Control (QC) process for all diagnostic jobs, ensuring proper documentation to ensure that all work is completed accurately and that customers are satisfied. Conduct and foster professional and timely communication (via email, voicemail, and in-person meetings) with customers, sales representatives, field staff, and internal company personnel on all diagnostic-related matters. Serve as a point of contact for office personnel in case of any issues related to a diagnostic problem. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times when providing services to customers. In conjunction with the Manager of Diagnostic Services, assist in training other field personnel on diagnostic tools, techniques, and processes. Proper completion of all services and related paperwork. Participate in all safety trainings and complete any required documentation.
