As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping students with special educational needs access the curriculum and feel confident in their learning.
Job Responsibilities:
Support children with special educational needs (SEN) on a one-to-one or small group basis.
Assist with the planning and delivery of individual learning plans for SEN students.
Create a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages students' social and academic development.
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to monitor the progress and well-being of students.
Assist with behavioural management, promoting positive behaviour and supporting students with emotional and social needs.
Provide feedback to teachers and parents, contributing to the overall development of students.
Qualifications/Experience:
Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN).
Relevant qualifications in education or SEN support (preferred but not essential).
Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service.
Right to work in the UK.
