GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Production Operator starts, troubleshoots, and operates manufacturing equipment safely.
There are three Production Operator levels (I, II, & III).
The level will be determined by experience, ability to assume various roles on the plant floor, and demonstrated ability to independently troubleshoot and problem-solve machine issues, resulting in efficient cycles and minimal downtime.
The Production Operator will operate production equipment, including industrial blenders, in accordance with the established production schedule.
SHIFT TIME:
This role is for the Day Shift, which operates from 7:00 a.m.
to 7:00 p.m.
Eastern.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform work in a safe manner by following all written and verbally communicated safety rules and procedures.
Follow standard work procedures to operate and maintain assigned machine(s).
Routinely meet or exceed production output rates per standards.
Ensure product meets certain tolerances and specifications.
Perform routine inspections per quality standards.
Understand production instructions.
Maintain accurate paperwork.
Inspects equipment, structures, and materials to identify problems or defects prior to production to ensure a clean, clear, and safe work environment.
Reads and follows work orders and formulas to meet production specifications and schedules.
Examines materials, ingredients, or products per quality standards.
Weighs or measures materials, ingredients, and products per requirements.
Adds and mixes raw materials according to specifications.
Transfers materials, supplies, and products between work areas.
Discharges blenders of powder when necessary.
Ensures quality and conformity of blended products to meet standards.
Ensures equipment is set up, cleaned, sanitized, and operating properly before, after, and between runs.
Completes cleaning logs and notifies quality control for hygiene testing.
Records operational and production data on specified forms/production documents.
Reports malfunctions to a supervisor and confirms proactive and routine maintenance.
Conducts ongoing assessment of quality control and operational procedures.

JOB DESCRIPTION
ESSENTIAL TASKS
Verifies and keeps records on incoming materials compares identifying information and counts, weight, or measures items of incoming shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records. Plan work schedules of warehouse staff for all inbound.
Inbounds are examine for condition of the loads, for damage items, rejected or put into the hold area, records shortages, and corresponds with QA, supervisor and purchasing to rectify damages and shortages. Manage inbound shipment scheduling to ensure timely and accurate delivery for production needs. Routes items to departments. Ensures proper LOT rotation and including FIFO (first in-first out) and organic product handling.
Perform cycle counts materials and products. Direct and execute receiving and put-away processes and ensure compliance to standards practices.
Serve as a resource to investigate and respond to inventory discrepancies.
Work with staff on assignments in response to rapidly changing receiving schedule.
Maintain a safe, clean and orderly area.
Adhere to quality and safety standards. Verify all shipments are recorded and verified the accuracy of the shipment against the paperwork for inbounds.
Use root cause analysis to put in place counter measures to eliminate errors and damage waste. Provide ideas/insights to refine established procedures to improve inventory accuracy and efficiency, improve quality, or reduce cost. Continually work with management on other optimization ideas. Maintain supporting cycle count records.
Compiles information on receipts, usage, and distribution of materials to review transactions. Oversees the storage and warehousing of materials, actively involved in cycle counts plans, adjustments to order quantities.
Plans layout and utilization of warehouse space considers inventory turnover, size weight and related factors od items stored.
Advises employees on care and preservation of items received, stored. Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Graduation from high school or GED equivalent computer skills and over Excel formulas 5+ years in warehousing Strong knowledge of warehouse, inventory, and shipping operations methods and practices Ability to read, write and speak English required, bilingual skills (English/Spanish) preferred. Problem solving, team building, project execution and ability to multi-task

Some standing, walking, moving, climbing, carrying, bending, kneeling, crawling, reaching, handling, pushing and pulling.

Assist Regional Field Safety Managers with rolling out new safety initiatives and briefing employees as needed on new policies, or changes in existing policies, to keep current (e.g., Daily Task Planning, 100% audit compliance, safety training programs) Educate the workforce and regional leadership on understanding Tremco's safety cultural advancements, such as safety leadership and safety management systems. Assist in the coaching, mentoring and implementation of Tremco Health and Safety programs in the field, to ensure that all safety expectations are understood and met. Participate with and/or conduct Toolbox Talk Meetings with Regional team employees. Regularly review and be familiar with all applicable legislation and applicable standards, to ensure compliance. Effectively represent our Tremco safety culture with our subcontractors and help Tremco site leadership to ensure complete compliance of our subcontractors to applicable rules and regulations (Federal, State, local, owner, Tremco and their own). Motivating, organizing, and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure safety practices and policies are being adhered to effectively. As a direct report to, regularly communicate safety audit results and/or field safety concerns (e.g., Stop Work Authority) with Assistant Safety Director and prepare observation reports as needed. Regularly audit the Site-Specific Safety and Health Plans for compliance and update to ensure the alignment with project scope and conditions. Ensure that all incidents are reported immediately per the Tremco Incident Notification Policy. Key responsibilities of Engineering Supervisor
The leadership of Engineering teams, covering both automated and semi-automated parts of the plant
International Management Skills, The development and promotion of lean manufacturing techniques,
To identify opportunities to further automate manufacturing processes
To develop multi-functional / flexible manufacturing teams across operations
Implement and push Engineering KPIs across the site
Experience and Qualifications Required for Engineering Supervisor
Engineering qualified; City & Guilds, ONC, BTEC Level 3, NVQ Level 3, Apprenticeship or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance
Previous experience as an Engineering Team Leader, Maintenance Supervisor, Engineering Manager, Maintenance Manager, Engineering Planner Lead Engineer etc
Strong Health and Safety awareness
Previous experience of undertaking maintenance within a manufacturing environment
Previous experience of the development and application of PPM activities
