JOB DESCRIPTION
GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Senior Technical Application Specialist ensures proper application of core product line responsibilities in accordance with company and industry guidelines by providing on-site and problem resolution assistance along with coaching/mentoring on testing results and techniques with the ability to be heavily involved in industry organizations that help shape industry standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct general and complex on site product applications, substrate analysis using specialty equipment with the ability to interpret testing data and make recommendations based off the collected data.
Recommend and approve Product Line application policies within technical literature, Coordinate 3rd party testing certification/approvals Collect Data for project or product specific testing, interpret results and make recommendation based off of finding.
High level of understanding of testing methods/techniques for Laboratory/Field Testing.
Perform and collect data from field and in-house/analytical lab specific testing to help interpret results and present a general understanding of testing methods and techniques to confirm varying compatibility.
Develop and review of sales product literature, application instruction, and the maintenance and updating of field training manuals.
Attend and coordinate job site visits with customers and field sales reps to conduct and interpret product application testing to make product and installation recommendations for troubleshooting on-site variation.
Write, review and make recommendations for letters of installation, job parameters, and competitive product comparisons along with detailed drawings to help make the sale.
Effectively collaborate with internal and designated external customers.
Assure product performance through demonstrating, reviewing and making recommendations for proper use and field application.
Provide independent product support on all lines.
Mastered assigned core product line technology to include writing policy; Assists in supporting product lines outside of core.
Actively able to train/mentor new employees.
EDUCATION
High School Diploma or GED required.
Bachelor's degree inScience, Engineering,Construction or similarfieldpreferred.
EXPERIENCE
4-7 years Technical Service, Construction, Customer Service or similar experience.
Must have prior knowledge and experience in the Roofing industry.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Experience with Auto CAD, Work, Excel, etc.
Ability to manage multiple priorities.
Effective team player.
Self-motivated.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to travel up to 50% in the North America region.

JOB DESCRIPTION
GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Senior Technical Application Specialist ensures proper application of core product line responsibilities in accordance with company and industry guidelines by providing on-site and problem resolution assistance along with coaching/mentoring on testing results and techniques with the ability to be heavily involved in industry organizations that help shape industry standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct general and complex on site product applications, substrate analysis using specialty equipment with the ability to interpret testing data and make recommendations based off the collected data.
Recommend and approve Product Line application policies within technical literature, Coordinate 3rd party testing certification/approvals Collect Data for project or product specific testing, interpret results and make recommendation based off of finding.
High level of understanding of testing methods/techniques for Laboratory/Field Testing.
Perform and collect data from field and in-house/analytical lab specific testing to help interpret results and present a general understanding of testing methods and techniques to confirm varying compatibility.
Develop and review of sales product literature, application instruction, and the maintenance and updating of field training manuals.
Attend and coordinate job site visits with customers and field sales reps to conduct and interpret product application testing to make product and installation recommendations for troubleshooting on-site variation.
Write, review and make recommendations for letters of installation, job parameters, and competitive product comparisons along with detailed drawings to help make the sale.
Effectively collaborate with internal and designated external customers.
Assure product performance through demonstrating, reviewing and making recommendations for proper use and field application.
Provide independent product support on all lines.
Mastered assigned core product line technology to include writing policy; Assists in supporting product lines outside of core.
Actively able to train/mentor new employees.
EDUCATION
High School Diploma or GED required.
Bachelor's degree inScience, Engineering,Construction or similarfieldpreferred.
EXPERIENCE
4-7 years Technical Service, Construction, Customer Service or similar experience.
Must have prior knowledge and experience in the Roofing industry.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Experience with Auto CAD, Work, Excel, etc.
Ability to manage multiple priorities.
Effective team player.
Self-motivated.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to travel up to 50% in the North America region.
Mechanical aptitude.
Mentoring/Training.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
Industry Involvement Preferred - ASTM SME.

This is a full-time role offering a salary range of £30,000 - £35,000 and benefits
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing digital X-ray systems, including Panoramic and CBCT units, across the UK (involving some heavy manual handling/lifting)
You will be responsible for:
* Diagnosing anresolvingve technical faults, providing both remote and on-site support.
* Work independently while maintaining clear and professional communication with clients and colleagues.
* Travel extensively across the UK, including frequent overnight stays for installations and training.
What we are looking for:
* Previously worked as a Field Service Engineer, Field Service Technician, X Ray Technician, Field Engineer, Field Technician, X Ray Engineer, Medical Equipment Service Engineer, Medical Equipment Service Technician or in a similar role.
* IT and networking experience with fault-finding ability.
* Excellent mechanical and electronic aptitude .
* Valid UK driving licence.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Field Service Engineer – Marine (OEM Specialist)
• Provide service, maintenance, and overhaul support for marine propulsion systems across the UK and abroad
• Perform fault diagnostics, repairs, and performance assessments at customer sites and shipyards
• Conduct major unit overhauls and commissioning of propulsion systems
• Travel internationally to support global field service requirements
• Act as a technical liaison for customers, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction
• Support Marine Sales and Aftermarket teams with technical insights to identify new business opportunities
• Work collaboratively with the Service Manager and HSE team to ensure safety compliance and operational excellence
• Ensure all company tooling, equipment, and calibration processes meet internal quality standards
• Maintain accurate service documentation, reports, and records in a timely manner
• Provide mentoring and share technical knowledge with colleagues and apprentices
• Undertake workshop-based activities when not on field assignments

Qualifications and Requirements for the Field Service Engineer – Marine (OEM Specialist)
Essential:
• Proven experience in field service, maintenance, or marine engineering (Royal Navy, Merchant Navy, shipyard, or marine OEM background preferred)
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills with hands-on diagnostic experience
• Experience with propulsion systems, hydraulic equipment, or rotating machinery
• Competence in electronic control systems and HV (high voltage) applications
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Strong commitment to safety and quality
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and IT systems
• Full, clean UK driving licence
Desirable:
• Experience working with OEM marine equipment (propulsion or power transmission systems)
• Previous international field service experience
• OEM training or manufacturer certifications in marine or rotating equipment
