Here's what you can expect:
Prepare samples, using various lab equipment and following detailed instructions provided by manager, performing standard tests and evaluations of samples, and following established methods and procedures including color evaluation on the color computer.
Monitor product quality to ensure compliance to standards and specifications.
Maintaining accurate and thorough records of observation and results, communicating them verbally and in reports requested by supervisor, and monitoring test fences.
Compile results of tests and analyses.
Set up and conduct experiments, tests, and analyses using standard paint test procedures and physical and chemical techniques.
Conduct chemical and physical laboratory tests.
Provide and maintain a safe work environment by participating in safety programs, committees, or teams, and by conducting laboratory and plant safety audits.
Prepare paint batches for products and following standardized formulas, or create experimental formulas.
Preform lab support activities which may include routine maintenance or upkeep of equipment and lab areas.
Work schedule: Days 5:45AM-4:15PM (Monday-Thursday)
Pay: $24-$27 per hour

JOB DESCRIPTION
GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Quality Control Specialist educates WTI personnel on the proper use and application of products, providing installation training both on and off the roof.
They oversee large self-performed projects from start to finish, conducting intermittent inspections and performing post-completion inspections of smaller projects.
The QCS will conduct regular job site visits during the project and after project completion.
The goal is to provide consistency nationwide through proper roof repairs and the application of our products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure proper execution and delivery of all WTI GS and GC self-performed roofing work. Provide a variety of technical and application training sessions in both field and shop settings. Provide hands-on application training and supervision of roof coatings and installation. Attend pre-cons on large projects.
Be present at job start-ups to discuss the proper execution of the scope of work.
Visit the projects at specific intervals to assess the completed work and provide any direction or corrective advice.
Perform a pre-final inspection to ensure that the project has a zero-punch list.
Perform final inspections when needed.
Pre-project field inspections and technical support, including but not limited to: Peel tests Product testing Product recommendations Proper product installations Post project completion inspection to ensure quality workmanship and proper utilization and application of materials. Product diagnostic support to ensure that WTI is kept out of trouble due to misuse of products in the situation. Conduct roof inspections, providing written reports and photo documentation. Conduct on-site safety audits to ensure all safety requirements are met and consult with the safety team as needed. Review and train on large warranty adjustment projects over ten (10) man days. Communicate professionally both verbally and in writing with our Technicians, Foremen, Supervisors, Field Operations Managers, Regional Business Managers, Corporate Staff, and the Sales Team. Complete daily reports including DTA's, Safety Audits, Truck Audits, and QC Inspection Reports as necessary and applicable. Complete weekly/monthly activity reports as requested. Support the region as needed when weather conditions prevent the fulfillment of daily job responsibilities. Facilitate training in a classroom setting.
All other Quality Control Inspection-related tasks or training as assigned by the manager. Travel predominantly within the assigned territory and nationally as needed, and complete and submit expense reports on a timely basis.
EXPERIENCE:
5+ years of roofing, roofing repair, troubleshooting, or field service experience. Working knowledge of commercial roofing systems, including built-up, modified, single ply, and metal. Working knowledge of roof coating systems.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Strong roofing or building science mechanical aptitude. Prior experience in a field service leadership role. Practical computer application literacy (including Microsoft Office Suite and learning the necessary internal business systems) In-depth technical understanding and extensive hands-on knowledge of the applications of products.
Intimate knowledge of our product line. This position is an autonomous role and requires self-motivation to manage a high level of independence. Strong work ethic and ability to multitask.
Experience working with various types of technology and software. Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

The Field Technical Representative for Facades ensures proper application of Tremco CPG Modulite products in accordance with all company and industry guidelines by providing on-site application and problem resolution.
This position works remote and supports the North Central Region.

Modulite has everything you need for the construction of 2D panelized walls systems, 3D modular units and prefabricated building components.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide independent support for primary territory product lines.
Recommend products and solutions outside of primary product lines with occasional direction.
Provide site support by performing general and complex product applications.
Perform substrate analysis using specialty equipment.
Keep up-to-date technically on practical procedures, specialized techniques to apply new knowledge within the field.
Provide field support by collecting data for project or product specific testing and interpreting results.
Recommend application policies within technical literature.
Coordinate 3rd party testing certification/approvals
Provide live and/or web-based training for internal staff and/or external customers.
Create instructional hands-on demonstrations in a classroom, distributor locations, or job site settings showing application of products.

EDUCATION:

The roleThis is a blended consultancy role, providing employment law advice as well as practical HR support to our clients and would be perfect for someone who loves to do both!

The role consists of:, You will work with our client to provide end-to-end telephone support for all their employee relation needs, meaning you will be a contact for help with a wide range of employment law and HR subjects, such as disciplinary, grievance, TUPE and early conciliation.
This will include identifying and evaluating risk/claims, enabling our clients to make an informed decision on how they wish to run their business., You will provide ad hoc support in the form of proactive and reactive services, which includes HR training, facilitating meetings such as disciplinary and grievance hearings, TUPE/redundancy consultations and potentially exit negotiations on behalf of your client.
, Essentially, giving the clients the support, they need to keep their business compliant in the everchanging world of employment law!
The person:, Qualified solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive or working towards either of these 2 qualifications or; , Experience providing employment legal advice within private practice or Consultancy, or;, A minimum of 3-4 years operating in an internal HR role, Experience in providing advice on complex and varied employment law and HR issues, Be passionate about helping and supporting clients to achieve the needs of their business, Tact, diplomacy, an eye for detail and excellent oral and written communication skills are essential, Be self-motivated and able to work with autonomy, Actively committed to self-development, Desirable experience in independently conducting meetings with employees
