Support and carry out product audits to maintain quality and compliance standards
Assist with maintenance activities and ensure terminal equipment and plant are kept in safe working order
Liaise with hauliers, customers, and vessel agents regarding scheduling and site access
Safely operate terminal machinery, such as wheel loaders and conveyors, as required
Key Requirements to be a Plant Operative/ Plant Operator:
Previous experience within the aggregates, logistics, port, or construction materials sectors is advantageous
Strong awareness of health, safety, and environmental standards
Proactive, reliable, and capable of working both independently and within a team
Flexible approach to working hours and operational duties

Support the performance appraisal process.
Attend and support in performance management meetings, providing HR guidance and accurate note-taking.

Ensure all HR processes and documentation comply with internal policies and current employment legislation.

THE PERSON:

CIPD Level 3 is desirable.
