The Lead Space Systems Engineer will be responsible for spearheading the design, construction, and delivery of small satellites for their global clientele.
You will be the driving force, encompassing the entire project lifecycle, from initial product review to final client acceptance.
Key Responsibilities for the Lead Space Systems Engineer:
- Spacecraft systems design and architecture both overall and in detail with hands-on work.
- Coordinating technical activities with customers and suppliers.
- Alignment of mission and spacecraft design to ESA standards
- Technical consulting with international clients.
- Coaching and guidance of non-senior engineers.
- Prepare documentation according to applied space engineering standards.
- Technical involvement in all aspects of mission and spacecraft design.

Key Skills and Experience Required by the Lead Space Systems Engineer:
- Possess several years of experience designing satellites, ideally honed on cutting-edge new space projects.
- Demonstrate proficiency in applying systems engineering principles (requirements analysis, architecture, simulation, integration, verification & validation) to deliver successful projects.
- Experience delivering projects according to established standards like ESA ECSS or NASA equivalents.
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex technical challenges head-on.
- Proven experience in systems validation, qualification, and ensuring optimal performance.
- Proficiency in programming or scripting languages (e.g., XML, Python, Matlab) can be beneficial.
- Be adept at utilising CAD and mission tools such as SOLIDWORKS, STK, GMAT, or similar software.
- Maintain a strong quality awareness and understanding of aerospace quality assurance processes and standards in the aerospace industry.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with space missions and projects.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of the functional aspects involved in building and developing spacecraft.

Maintenance Engineer
The role of the Maintenance Engineer is to provide a full preventative and breakdown maintenance service across a wide range of production machinery & equipment. The role will also support the general building maintenance, fault finding, installation and inspection of the electrical infrastructure within company sites.
Principal Accountabilities:
