GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Business Science Key Account Research Intern will engage in high-level research on key accounts utilizing platforms like Construct Connect, Dodge BI, warranty systems, and SalesForce.
Collaborate with the Director of Building Science and regional sales team to identify key accounts, offering insights for growth opportunities and strategic initiatives to facilitate and drive growth based on past activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with the Director of Building Science and regional sales team. Identify key accounts within the region and compile a list. Conduct comprehensive research on each account using platforms such as Construct Connect, Dodge BI, warranty systems, and SalesForce. Review past activities and collaborate with the sales team to identify strategic opportunities for growth with key accounts.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Students pursuing a bachelor's degree in any accredited college or university will be considered.
Must be a rising sophomore, junior, or senior in good academic standing.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
No prior experience is necessary, requires a propensity for learning, openness to training, and a continuous improvement mindset.
OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc. Adept at conducting comprehensive research and analysis, with the capacity to explore extensive topics and distill substantial data into concise and pertinent summaries. Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, to effectively convey ideas, analysis, and guidance to diverse areas within the business.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION:
The hourly rate for applicants in this position generally ranges between $18.00 and $21.50, depending upon the academic year and prior experience/internships with the company (i.e.
returning interns).
This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operations, needs, and other considerations permitted by law.

Carboline is seeking a National Business Development Manager for our Fireproofing markets.
This position will be responsible for developing and growing Carboline's sales in North America as well as supporting major global projects within the Fireproofing markets.
This position will works closely with all regional Sales Directors, Engineering Sales Management and Project Development Teams.
We are seeking candidates with prior experience in developing key relationships, driving large projects and generating sales growth within the Industrial Coatings and Fireproofing industries.
Minimum Requirements: 4-year Business and/or Marketing degree, or 10-15 years of passive fire protection experience.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires minimal physical activity.
May require lifting up to 50 lbs.
on occasion.
Will require computer usage and knowledge of Carboline SFA.
Occasional exposure to various chemicals.
May require travel by car and air up to 60%, including nighttime.
Essential Functions:
Focus efforts to generate new Carboline business opportunities. Works with Market Managers to develop an overall fireproofing strategy and to focus on strategic decisions.
Aligns and coordinates Business Development, RD&I, Engineering Sales, Sales Teams, and major application firms to drive growth.
This position will also directly involve the entire contract chain, starting with project development to successful sales transactions.
Will be responsible for providing input to Marketing on research to determine the size of the market, pricing strategies, and targeted accounts.
Help identify new product requirements in an ever-changing market and share this information with the Fireproofing Marketing Manager and RD&I to ensure Carboline maintains technical leadership.
Works with Marketing Department to develop necessary support and promotional literature. Make joint sales calls with key stakeholders to develop targeted accounts. Understands the necessity of meeting corporate and personal budgeted sales and margin goals.
Perform additional duties as assigned Commit to the Company's safety and quality programs.

We're exclusively partnering with a highly successful PE Backed Manufacturing business that's experiencing hyper growth and as a result, they're looking for a Finance Business Partner to join the team.
As Finance Business Partner reporting to the Finance Director, you'll be working closely with key stakeholders to review product manufacturing costs, create standardised product costings, evaluate product profitability, and seek cost efficiencies to improve margins / profitability.
In addition, you'll work in collaboration with the manufacturing team for capacity / demand planning purposes and to financially model the prioritisation of the manufacturing product lines that will both achieve high volumes of sales and profitability.
Making data driven recommendations to key stakeholders and the board to enable effective decision making.

THE FINANCE BUSINESS PARTNER / FINANCIAL CONTROLLER ROLE:
Oversee standard costing and inventory management to support strategic and operational decision making within the business.
Responsible for reviewing, understanding, challenging and explaining all manufacturing cost variances on a regular basis.
Raise and promote finance into the wider business by providing finance business partnering and control.
Support to a variety of stakeholders to deliver improvements in all aspects of site performance.
Communicate with all levels across the business, acting as a translator or interface between finance, commercial and operations.
Develop, implement, and maintain accurate standard costing model for manufacturing operations and provide margin analysis.
Review quality, demand, and obsolescent and aged stock provision, challenging large values and any significant movements.
Provide regular reporting on stock management and stockholding.
Liaise with and develop the financial awareness of both commercial and operational managers within the business, to understand variances and margins.
Monitor and analyse manufacturing costs and associated variance analysis.
Complete associated month end processes to strict deadlines.
Actively influence day to day decisions, shaping the strategy and direction of the business.
Conduct data analysis using the company's ERP system and linked BI system providing meaningful reports to guide business focus.
Work closely with the manufacturing managers to ensure they understand the impact their actions have to the company's profitability and cashflow.
THE PERSON:
Must have experience within a Finance Business Partner role or similar, such as a Financial Controller, Cost Accountant or Management Accountant within a manufacturing environment, with exposure to standard cost remodelling.
Professional qualification such as CIMA / ACCA is highly desirable but not essential.
Thorough understanding of standard costing, BOM's, inventory management and manufacturing processes.
Advanced excel skills and the ability to perform data analysis.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and challenge effectively with cross-functional teams and non-finance personnel.

They are looking for someone to work within their busy Marketing & Business Development Department focussing on the firms digital presence and their consumer service areas.
This is a 12 month fixed term role, full time, working 36.25 hours per week Mon - Fri.
The Senior Marketing Executive will work with the consumer groups to achieve the marketing and business development objectives set out in the business plans.
You will also manage toe day to day relationship with their digital agency.The role will be responsible for delivering successful outcomes such as:
- Working closely with the consumer Heads of Departments to develop and implement their department marketing plans;
