We are searching for an experienced Building Services Electrical Estimator / Electrical Services Estimator to join a pre-construction team based near to Cirencester.
You will be joining an exciting and highly regarded Mechanical and Electrical Design and Installation company who provide a range of high quality Mechanical and Electrical solutions to both private and public sector customers across commercial and industrial applications, including, retail and leisure, healthcare, industrial, commercial, accommodation and education.
The services provided by our client include project management, design, procurement, installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health Engineering Services.
Our ideal candidate will have experience in commercial projects and will be both technically and commercially astute.
You will be reporting to the Contracts Director, and the role comprises of but will not be limited to:
Timely and accurate submission of tenders.
Preparing tenders for internal adjudications.
Vetting incoming tenders/offers from our supply chain and ensuring that the most viable offer is included within our submission.
Arranging tender adjudication meetings and explaining to the attendees the project duration, costing approach and risks to the business.
Require Skills:
Commercially astute being able to identify and manage risk and to anticipate issues that may affect costs and address them proactively.
An eye for detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
Proactive with the skills to assess better systems of work in order to advise and assist clients on systems that will save time and money.
Ability to take project ownership whilst under support of the project Director and work both on their own and as part of a wider multi-discipline team.
Experience and Qualifications:
Proven experience in a similar position with an M&E Contractor or in the M&E division of a Main Contractor.
Experience in the commercial office and warehousing sector would be an advantage.
Ability to estimate costs and timescales accurately and work to meet tender return deadlines.
Competent in the use of computers and data handling including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
General understanding of other MEP disciplines, BREEAM and Sustainability.

We are searching for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our clients existing design team.
In this role you will be responsible for the design, engineering and specification of new products alongside the maintenance of our clients existing product range.
You will report to the Technical Engineering Manager and alongside the Design team you will be expected to generate production ready designs and help ensure the smooth running of the department.
You will ensure that new products are designed and developed within the agreed timescales and to the standards expected.
ROLE DUTIES
Work closely with the Technical Engineering Manager and the Design and Development department you will take products from conception to detailed engineering drawings for manufacture.
You will determine manufacturing methods for engineering designs accounting for both inhouse and external manufacture capabilities.
You will carry out DFMEA at the outset of each project, monitoring the completion of actions identified and working with the development team to identify product design failure modes.
You will ensure that tolerance analysis is carried out during the design process, allowing for ease of manufacture, product function and eliminating tolerance build up issues during product manufacture and assembly.
You will be working with all departments involved in the NPD program, in particular, Development, Production Engineering & Purchasing, ensuring design for manufacture is implemented prior to product handover.
You will work with the Production Engineering department to optimise designs to reduce costs, increase efficiency and maintain product quality.
You will ensure Bill of Materials spreadsheets are generated during the design process enabling Production Engineering to generate product manufacturing costs.
You will ensure new product progress feedback sheets are filled out and kept up to date.
To be considered for the role you require experience in a mixture of the following: -
You will be either degree educated or have a proven engineering background with a strong bias toward mechanical engineering.
You will be able to demonstrate ability in product development from initial prototype to mass production.
Experience of sheet metal manufacture experience and knowledge of sheet metal processes is required.
Experience of generating Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis reports (DFMEA Reports) and implementing the actions identified is required.
Experience of tolerance build up analysis and resolving areas of concern.
Proven experience of working with Solid Edge (consideration will be given to individuals who have worked with SolidWorks).
Ability to generate 2D production drawings according to GD&T best practise.
Demonstrated ability in design for manufacture considerations.
Folding simulation software experience whilst NOT essential, would be an advantage.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to demonstrate continuous learning.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
Possess proven team working skills.
Be able to work to set standards and procedures in an ISO9001:2015 registered company.

We are searching for an experienced Accountant / Finance Manager for an extremely exciting technology focused business based in East Devon.
You will ideally be a qualified Accountant or an Accountancy Finalised preparing for your final assessment.
You will be working in a complex financial environment, and you will need to learn the finance function of the business with a view to taking over the complete end-to-end financial functions after an impending retirement.
This will all begin with purchase ledger input and control, budget monitoring, including, employee expenses and credit control.

Expert knowledge of and experience in LAN/WAN/VLAN communications, VPN configuration and enterprise wireless networking.
Experience of Dell core and edge switches with fibre is preferable.
CCNA/CCNP equivalent accreditation is advantageous but is not essential.
Experience and excellent working knowledge of GNS3 (or similar) is really beneficial.
Firewall configuration, management and monitoring experience is essential.
Experience of FortiGate products preferable.
TCP/IP networking stack, DNS, DHCP, RADIUS/AAA, Active Directory, SSL, 2FA, OT skills are essential for this position.
