Costs Draftsman/ Lawyer/ Solicitor (All Levels Considered) | Manchester & Liverpool | Hybrid

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join the expanding Costs Team at a leading global law firm.

You will be joining a team that is both Legal 500 and Chambers ranked.

The firm itself is a market leader across a range of commercial trade sectors, giving members of their team exposure to an exciting and varied caseload across a full range of legal disputes.


The role:

- Drafting Bills of Costs for both Claimant & Defendant (personal injury, property damage, commercial, defamation, clinical negligence and construction)
- Preparation of Points of Dispute and Replies
- Handling of low value to multimillion pound costs claims across multiple sectors
- Preparing Precedent H Costs Budgets and Precedent R’s
- Attendance at CCMC’s, Application Hearings, Detailed Assessments and final hearings for obtaining of Charging Orders
- Advocacy experience beneficial but not essential as training can be provided
