Director of Outlets – Five-Star Hotel

Location: Houston, TX

Salary: $95,000 – 130,000 + Benefits

We are excited to have teamed up with a Five-Star Hotel and Spa in Houston, Texas.

They are looking for a Director of Outlets who will be responsible for overseeing day to day operations of outlets in the hotel.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring complete guest satisfaction.

Role Responsibilities:

• Oversees departmental scheduling and regularly reviews staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs and financial objectives are met
• Utilizes interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others; advocates sound financial/business decision making; demonstrates honesty/integrity; leads by example
• Identifies the developmental needs of hotel Colleagues.
  
  Coaches, mentors, or otherwise helps Colleagues improve their knowledge, skill, or ability
• Ensures compliance with all food & beverage policies, standards and procedures by training, supervising, follow-up and hands on management
• Supervises and assists with other outlet and hotel operations as needed or as directed by leadership
• Improves service by communicating and assisting direct reports to understand guest needs, providing guidance, feedback, and individual coaching when needed
• Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Minimum of 4 years of restaurant General Management experience, preferably in a luxury hotel setting
• Should possess a strong knowledge of liquor, beer and wine
• Knowledge in and or experience with Forbes 5 Star service standards is preferred
• Superior interpersonal and communications skills including exemplary written and oral communications skills
• Display professional conduct, sound judgment, the highest level of professional integrity, and a strong work ethic
• Ability to establish and maintain a positive and professional working relationship with all individuals
