Head of Sales - Events Catering

Head of Sales – Events
Salary: Up to £50,000 + Commission
Location: London

Our client is an award-winning event catering company who are looking for a Head of Sales to join their growing team.

This role involves a high volume of inbound enquiries, as well as driving new business.

Our client is looking for an experienced individual with a proactive approach to sales and a passion for building client relationships.

Main Duties:


  • Manage the reactive and proactive sales process
  • Maintain and build relationships with venues
  • Produce bespoke event proposals in line with the clients budgets and requirements
  • Generate leads, build and nurture client relationships
  • Attend client meetings, show rounds, tastings and networking events
  • Proactively seek opportunities to be listed at new and existing venues
  • Carry out competitor analysis
  • Produce weekly and monthly sales reports

Requirements:


  • Sales Management experience within a venue or an event caterer is essential.
  • Proven track record of success in the full sales cycle
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisation skills
  • Ability to think outside the box and be creative
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Passionate about the events industry
