Motor Vehicle Technician

Location: Boroughbridge, North Yorkshire

Salary: Up to £40k (DOE) + Excellent Benefits

Job Type: Full-Time, Monday - Friday

The Client:

Our client is a reputable car dealership, focusing on vehicle sales, acquisitions, servicing, and aftersales support.

The Role:

As a Motor Vehicle Technician, you will perform vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:



* Conduct thorough vehicle health checks.


* Execute both minor and major mechanical repairs along with MOTs.


* Undertake major electrical and engine repair tasks.


* Perform road tests post-service.


* Document and articulate comprehensive vehicle assessments and repair outcomes.


Requirements:



* Previously worked for at least 2 years as a Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Mechanic or in a similar role.


* Background in prestige, franchised dealers, or independent garages.


* Understanding of diagnosing and rectifying vehicle system faults.


* Skilled in using diagnostic equipment and completing paperwork accurately.


* Valid UK driving licence.


Shifts:



* Monday - Friday: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm


* 1 in 4 Saturdays: 8:30 am - 12:30 pm
