We are currently recruiting for a Children's Social Worker to join a Children in Care and Leaving Care Team in Berkshire.

This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 2 years post qualified experience

About the team

The team works to promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people who are either in care or are leaving care.

Working collaboratively with other Social Work Professionals, Personal Advisors and connected services is important to ensure the best outcomes are met for young people.

Creating trusting relationships with children and young people in foster care, kinship care, residential placements and semi-independent living is imperative.

About you

A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of two years' experience working in an Adult's Social Work setting are essential for this position.

Previous experience with children in care, leaving care or frontline safeguarding work lends well to the success of this position.
