My client is looking for a Sales Manager to join their team as soon as possible!

Responsibilities

Sales Revenue


  • Provide strategic revenue management plans within the hotel to include :

Rate development, establishment of group thresholds, space utilization policy, deployment strategies through the review of competitive data, demand analysis and market mix management, RFPs management


  • Manage property’s proactive and reactive sales efforts
  • Suggest innovative marketing ideas and assist in the deployment strategies to continue to grow market share
  • Oversee and maximize revenue contribution from major distribution channels, mainly GDS.
  • Participate in ownership meetings/presentations
  • Coordinate communications for property with brand management system
  • Assure effective utilization and adherence to standards relating to current systems in place at the hotel
  • Sales information systems
  • Group revenue management system

Qualifications


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of computer accounting programs, math skills, as well as budgetary analysis capabilities required
  • Extensive knowledge of sales skills and revenue management
  • Ability to effectively listen, communicate and perform diplomacy with internal and external customers and staff in all situations
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, such as effectively communicating with supervisors, coworkers, public etc.
  • Speak German and English

Additional Responsibilities


  • In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the company.
  • Participate in industry networking events and trade shows
  • Maintain an open line of communication between guests, employees and management
  • Input and retrieve information from computer system for file maintenance, correspondence and preparation of forecasts and marketing input
  • Assist office in any other administrative duties as needed
  • Report to the General Manager and The Management Company representatives
