Lead Architect

Location: Preston, Lancashire

Working Hours: 37.75 hours per week

The Client:

Our client is a reputable consultancy in the construction sector, specialising in project management, architecture, building surveying, and quantity surveying.

The Role:

As a Lead Architect, you will design, oversee, and execute a diverse array of building projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and client satisfaction in terms of quality.

Responsibilities:



* Oversee project progression, including planning applications and compliance with building regulations.


* Coordinate and guide multidisciplinary teams, ensuring collaborative success and efficiency in project delivery.


* Manage external consultants and liaise proactively with various disciplines within the firm to uphold project quality and meet KPIs.


* Provide expert technical advice and foster architectural discussions to enhance departmental output and client satisfaction.


* Drive the professional development and operational management of Architectural Technicians within the department.


Requirements:



* Previous experience working in a similar role.


* Background in architectural design and project delivery across various operational contexts.


* Knowledge of the design and construction business.


* ARB and RIBA registration with a relevant degree in Architecture.


* Proven ability to lead and mentor multidisciplinary design teams.


* Skilled in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Photoshop, with understanding of RIBA work-stages.


* Excellent communication skills with a strong client engagement track record.
