Teach Plus is working in partnership with a popular, 3-form entry primary school in Waltham Forest, rated ‘Good' by Ofsted, known for its inclusive ethos, high-quality teaching, and commitment to developing early career teachers.

The school is seeking a motivated and reflective ECT to join their team from September 2025.

A choice of year group across KS1 or KS2 is available, depending on your strengths and interests.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ECT who is eager to make a strong start in their teaching career within a well-structured and nurturing school.

The school provides an exceptional support programme for new teachers, including additional PPA time to focus on induction targets and professional development.

As an ECT, you will be expected to:
➢ Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum
➢ Support the academic and emotional progress of all pupils in your class
➢ Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and wellbeing
➢ Work closely with your year group team and mentor to reflect on and refine your practice
➢ Build strong relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents
➢ Use assessment effectively to identify next steps in learning

The ideal candidate for this role will have:
➢ A UK-recognised teaching qualification with QTS (by September 2025)
➢ Experience across KS1 or KS2 gained through training or teaching placements
➢ A genuine passion for teaching and learning, and a commitment to continuous improvement
➢ Strong communication and organisational skills
➢ A desire to contribute positively to school life
➢ An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
➢ The right to work in the UK
