Are you an energetic, dedicated, and passionate KS2 Teaching Assistant looking for a new role from September?


Teach Plus are currently working with an ‘Outstanding' primary school based in Ealing who are seeking a KS2 Teaching Assistant to support a Year 4 class.


You will be required to support the class teacher in planning activities and resources for lessons.

Delivering interventions to small groups of children in various subjects and on occasion, support children with SEND on a one-to-one basis.


The role is to start in September, it is a full-time, ongoing position.

You would be required to work 8.30am - 4pm, Monday - Friday.



As a KS2 Teaching Assistant you will be expected to:



  • Follow the class teacher's direction in supporting children both inside and outside the classroom

  • Follow plans for activities and intervention sessions provided by the class teacher

  • Support with learning

  • Ensure the children feel supported and safe by having a warm and nurturing approach

  • Support with planning activities and preparing resources for lessons



The ideal candidate for the KS2 Teaching Assistant role will have:




  • Have experience working within a primary school

  • The ability to build rapport with the child and be able to respond to the child's individual needs

  • A flexible, proactive attitude who are passionate about improving the environment and learning for all pupils

  • Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service

  • Right to work in the UK
