Remote Draughtsman

An established architectural metalwork company is seeking a Draughtsman (remote) to join their growing design team.

This is a permanent, full-time position offering a salary of £45,000, with flexible working arrangements depending on your location.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm
Salary: £45,000
Location: Fully remote (UK-based) or hybrid if within commuting distance

Work Flexibility:

• Fully remote for candidates based over one hour from the office


• Hybrid working for those within commuting distance


• In-office only for local candidates (A live video feed via TV screen keeps remote team members connected to the office environment)

Responsibilities:

• Produce detailed technical drawings using TEKLA for bespoke architectural metalwork projects


• Collaborate with the in-house design team, fabricators, and project managers


• Interpret and apply point cloud data for accurate modelling (preferred but not essential)


• Ensure quality and accuracy across all design outputs


• Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and standards

Requirements:

• Proven design experience in architectural metalwork


• Proficiency in TEKLA software


• Strong communication and collaboration skills


• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines


• Must be based in the UK
