As an Upper Key Stage 2 Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons aligned with the Key Stage 2 curriculum


• Prepare pupils for end-of-key-stage assessments, ensuring strong progress and outcomes


• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages responsibility and resilience


• Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and families to support pupil learning and wellbeing

The ideal Upper Key Stage 2 Teacher will have:

• QTS and recent experience teaching in Upper Key Stage 2 (Year 5 or Year 6)


• Strong subject knowledge, particularly in English and Maths, and familiarity with SATs preparation


• A reflective and proactive approach to teaching and classroom management


• The ability to build positive relationships and inspire pupils to achieve their best
